Katherine Grindle is a Hydrologist with the New York Water Science Center. She has been with the U. S. Geological Survey since 2015. Before becoming the Continuous Water Quality Subject Matter Expert within New York’s Quality and Integrity Branch, she was a hydrologic technician in Charleston WV (VA/WV WSC) and Milford PA (NY WSC), collecting continuous surface water, ground water, and water quality data along with discrete water quality samples. She also acted as Co-LDM and CDSPC for the Virginia-West Virginia Water Science Center before swapping to New York. During her time with the U.S. Geological Survey, she has assisted with training new technicians and instructed many safety trainings.
